Rowmote is an iOS application that allows you to effortlessly control audio, video, and presentation programs on your Mac from your iOS device.

The remote control that comes with your Mac is known for its simplicity and elegance, providing easy control over Front Row, iTunes, Quicktime, DVD Player, Keynote, and more.

However, if your Mac did not come with a remote control or does not have an infrared port, purchasing one from Apple or a third-party can be expensive.

With Rowmote, there is no need for an additional device to control your computer. Simply use your iPhone or iPod Touch that you always carry with you. Additionally, you don't have to worry about line-of-sight limitations.

Rowmote is similar to your Mac's physical remote control but offers even more functionality over a wireless network. By tapping the Apps button, you gain access to bonus features such as switching between controlled programs and toggling the iTunes Visualizer. Rowmote can even wake up sleeping Macs.
